The menu does includes calorie counts so, if you’re inclined, you can track how healthy or decadent your choices are. If I had realized that, I probably would have skipped the starter, as we ended up with too many chips for two. The entree also came with chips, which I didn’t see mentioned on the menu. Cotija, a salty Mexican cow’s milk cheese that resembles feta, was sprinkled like snow over two soft corn tortillas filled with well-grilled garlic-lime steak, avocado cream sauce, cilantro, pico de gallo and a smattering of tomatoes. The dish’s almost delicate appearance belied its robust flavors. My entree, lime steak street tacos ($7.79), came from the “Flat Outrageous” section of the menu that lists new items. ![]() Happily, the entree came with more of that queso and guac, as well as sour cream, sliced jalapeños and diced onions and tomatoes. ![]() The crispness of the tortillas was a good contrast to the tender, smoky chicken. Moving on to the main meal, Jay enjoyed flautas ($6.79), two flour tortillas filled in his case with chipotle chicken and lightly fried and cut into wedges.
